1 can of tuna (drained)

A handful of arugula

1 small onion (sliced)

Red bell pepper (sliced)

Lemon slices

Black pepper to taste

Romaine lettuce (or iceberg lettuce)

Prepare the Vegetables:

Wash and chop the arugula, onion, red bell pepper, and lettuce.

Season the Tuna:

Drain the oil from the tuna.

Sprinkle black pepper and squeeze lemon juice over the tuna.

Assemble the Salad:

Arrange the vegetables and seasoned tuna on a plate.

Garnish with lemon slices.

Serve:

Serve with half a loaf of whole-grain bread or two slices of brown toast.
